EV Connectors in North America:
- J1772 is used for most EV models other than Teslas. In the long term, all cars and charging stations in North America will transition to NACS, but adapters exist to convert J1772 to NACS and vice versa.
- NACS, also known as the Tesla plug, also known as J3400. This connector is used by Tesla cars, and is increasingly popular with other brands on new EV models.
